Getting dogs to like you or not

When you find a dog while on a walk, if you pull the leash towards the dog, they'll sniff each other or bark at each other. If they sniff for a while, you start to hear nice music and they lay on top of each other. If they bark and start to fight, and you hear more violent sounding music, then they dont like each other. Usually it depends what breed of dog. 2 of the same size dogs usually aren't very mean, But if you have say a chihuahua and a German shepard, they don't get along very well.
