Ok, if you are going to a contest, before you leave save your progress. Then go to the contest and do your thing. If you're losing the contest, turn your Nintendo DS off, then turn it back on again. You have to turn it off before the contest says "time's up". You have to save your progress before going to a contest because if you don't, when you turn your DS off you will lose all of the progress you've made that day. Turning off a DS before a contest ends allows you to do the same exact contest again.
